San Diego Bay

Take a stroll along the Embarcadero and you are sure to see people working at their easels. They could be painting the tall ship Star of India, fishing vessels, Navy ships, or the picturesque structures in Seaport Village.

San Diego Bay includes two man-made islands, Harbor Island and Shelter Island, which have numerous locations for getting unique views of the downtown skyline, Point Loma, and the harbor.

A recent addition to the bay is the USS Midway Museum, giving artists a unique opportunity to get an up close view of this famous aircraft carrier.
